Listening To: Beloved by Say Lou Lou

First things first, Beloved is ‘just’ a b-side by Say Lou Lou accompanying the main single Better In The Dark in the latter’s EP release. Second, Beloved, despite being ‘just’ a b-side, is actually loaded with tons of coolness. Lastly, you should listen to it. Now. The synths effortlessly charm you with its powers – captivating you and treating your senses to a wonderful work of art in the process. The chorus is very “sing-along worthy” – just what you need for a pop single to stand a chance to be remembered by the picky listening public. Finally, another twin-sister act has invaded my playlist successfully. This only means that yes, dearest Tegan and Sara, you now have some twin-sister company in my iTunes library. Back to the track: that slow build only manufactured excitement and when those shimmering synths kick in, greatness commences. Simply awesome. Please bring on the album. Thank you very much.
